Andrew W. Levin, an attorney and CPA, has worked extensively in the media and entertainment field for more than 25 years. In 2004, Mr. Levin was appointed executive vice president, chief legal officer, and secretary of Clear Channel Communications where he was responsible for all legal, legislative and regulatory matters for Clear Channel and its subsidiaries. During his tenure at Clear Channel, Mr. Levin led the successful spin-off of the company’s live entertainment division now known as Live Nation and managed the competitive auction and sale of Clear Channel’s 56-station television division and 450 smaller-market radio stations. Mr. Levin is currently an advisor to Clear Channel on strategic business and policy issues. Prior to Clear Channel, Mr. Levin served as senior counsel to the U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee for seven years starting in 1995 where he was the chief policy advisor to Chairman John Dingell on mass media, telecommunications and internet policy matters and helped draft and negotiate significant legislation including the landmark Telecommunications Act of 1996.
He received his J.D. from The George Mason University School of Law and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in Finance George Washington University.
MIKE ROWLES
Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary of Live Nation
Since March 2006, Michael Rowles has served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Live Nation Entertainment, Inc. the largest live entertainment company in the world and, since its merger with Ticketmaster earlier this year, the third largest e-commerce company in the world. Prior to Live Nation Entertainment, Mr. Rowles served as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of Entravision Communications Corporation, a diversified Spanish-language media company located in Santa Monica, California. Mr. Rowles was also a partner in the law firm of Zevnik Horton Guibord McGovern Palmer & Fognani, L.L.P., where he had a general corporate practice with an emphasis in securities and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Rowles received his J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law, graduating magna cum laude, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois, graduating with honors.
