THE ASSOCIATION OF MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT COUNSEL (AMEC) ANNOUNCES 2010 ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS

LOS ANGELES, January 27, 2010: The Association of Media and Entertainment Counsel (AMEC), the leading trade association serving general counsel and business affairs attorneys, is pleased to announce its 2010 Advisory Board. Legal professionals from a wide cross-section of companies and law firms across the media and entertainment industry have come together to form the Leadership Advisory Board, the Law Firm Advisory Board, and the Emerging Leaders Board, which serve as heart of AMEC.

AMEC’s Emerging Leaders Board consists of attorneys in private practice, in-house counsel, business affairs executives, and attorneys in non-legal position in entertainment and media companies who have less than five years professional experience, or are under the age of 35. “The Emerging Leaders section is indebted to AMEC for the educational networking and career advancement opportunities it has created for attorneys in the media and entertainment industry,” said Chair of the board Christian Vance, of Fox Television Studios. “Our board looks forward to another year of partnership with our more senior colleagues in advancing the historic mission of AMEC: To support the career development and honor the achievements of in-house counsel and business affairs attorneys at media and entertainment companies.” New to the 2010 Emerging Leaders Board are:
